New: Normimetry improves the user experience

Normimetry is a new calibration exercise that allows for a more accurate estimation of the patient's tidal volume, i.e., the volume inhaled or exhaled during natural breathing. Previously integrated directly into training sessions that required this estimation, Normimetry is now a calibration element in its own right and is based on a repetition of five successful respiratory cycles.

Launched and now available on professional versions of the LORIO software, Normimetry saves rehabilitation time on training sessions that included this preliminary phase (e.g., Roller Coaster) in each sequence.

Normimetry becomes a calibration indicator, just like Plumimetry (assessment of maximum volumes during inspiration and expiration) and Maximetrie (expiratory volume at maximum flow), and enriches the patient profile.

And what are the benefits for the patient?

Normimetry is:

  • A streamlined interface, reduced to the bare minimum to make the exercise easier to understand.

  • Soft colors and calm background music to help patients approach this assessment phase with complete peace of mind.

  • An easy experience that reassures patients as they learn to use LORIO.
